Robin McCullough-Bade -- pastor of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA),
writer, and teacher -- has served as a parish pastor, a mission consultant, and as an associate director of
Evangelism for the ELCA developing resources in evangelism
as well as the prayer website. In addition,
she has been involved with several writing projects, and consults with congregations desiring to be more effective
in mission and ministry.
Robin has also been very involved in the recovery and relief work following the devastation of hurricanes
Katrina and Rita.
Robin grew up in Ohio, but during the last 20 years, she has lived in a
variety of states, serving congregations in small town, urban, and suburban settings.
In addition, she has taught public school, directed a residential Environmental
Education Center at a Lutheran camp, served as interim pastor at Lutheran and Presbyterian
congregations, and has led workshops and directed retreats on a variety of topics.
Robin is married to John McCullough Bade. Together, they wrote
Our Mission: Discovering God's Call to Us.
Our Mission is a part of the
Congregational Leader Series of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America and Augsburg Fortress Publishing Company.
Robin enjoys tennis, photography (she took the pottery photos for this site),
camping and traveling. She delights in discovering and sharing God's creation
with John and 15-year-old Michael.
